Today was day 5 of being back. On day 1, after needless shed tears at the moment the plane touched down, I was unstoppably excited about everything. As already said, I cried! In Amsterdam today we saw hundreds of bikes lined up against ...

We enjoyed walking on the path that runs along the edge of the Rhine and watching the ships going up and down. The restaurants line the path throughout the summer and do ...

... and the high ceilings of the church. I'd say, this is the most touristy part of Cologne and has shops and cafes spread all over. One of my favorites is the Cafe Reichard, a 19th century cafe and makes for a good spot to relax and enjoy the Gothic wonder. This is also a starting point for all sight seeing bus tours for Cologne.

Another beautiful attraction of Cologne is the Rhine promenade, very close to the Cathedral. You could enjoy ...
