An hour later (after Andy had heard all about the cheese) we made it to Maastricht, where we managed to spend close to an hour fluffing around trying to find the caves and fort in town… Apparently there are two forts in town, but the first that we found was not the one we were looking ...

... end of the block we found the same bakery again. We weren't lost there was a second one so we decided on an early smoko break and this time headed in to sit down with some strudel and coffee.....well when in Germany... right? After resting a while we knew we needed to walk off the treats so we pressed on shop after shop of end of season bargains and cool things only Europe could offer.
