... this kind of history is important so that it doesn't happen again.  After that the rest of the day was SO AMAZING!!! We drove 2 hours out to Fussen to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. The scenery was spectacular, the Alps were beautiful and the castle itself was gorgeous. It was built by "Mad" King Ludwig II in 1886. ... raspberries.. what a great treat .. we see a deer in the distance but maybe my huffing & puffing up the hill scares him off.. find a poor little mole ,perhaps hit by a bicycle, after an inspection and necessary photo shot , he is given a fitting burial in the woods.

... they had..Endless supply of beers, wines, schnappes,liqueurs, etc . Great spread of food from pasta, prawns, pork, salads, breads etc before the night's entertainment..
