      ... square next to the church the locals put on an old ritual of swinging from a high tower by one foot. We had seen this on our way into Tulum. Prior to leaping they have their touts on the ground seeking donations to secure their culture.

      ... bus to the beach club. What an amazing beach!!! The walk into the club along the path was so beautiful and at the end of it was a breathtaking view of the ocean and Cozemel in the distance! (The pictures do not do it justice) the sand was perfect white powder the water was crystal clear and the tempature was just right!!       ... we left for an early night. Breakfast is included and brought to your room (I don't think they have a dining room here) but room service is always welcome! At 8.30 as requested we had a knock at the door and a lady brought in a tray of coffee, orange juice and pastries, not bad for £60 a night. We ate it on the balcony.       ... burrito. Genuinely the best burrito Ive ever had! For once I saw the worth of having the rice in it!! We then had a Mayan sacrifice, which is a mix of 3 different alcohols, set on fire then funnelled through ice into your mouth. Bizarre but fun!
