... us. My legs nearly gave ip. Left over soreness from yesterday I think. The art work here is amazing. No pictures allowed so cannot show you. The domes are so high and it is incredible to think that it was designed and built in the 1200's. We arrived in Rome pretty much on time, made our way immigration - that was a joke a quick look at the passport and waved us through ( talk about porous borders) then on to the luggage carousel where we waited about 10 minutes for our luggage to appear and thankfully both arrived safe and sound. Off to find the train to Termini..... Which we found easily. Now getting our tickets that we had purchased from rail Europe was another matter! It took several tries before the ...

... villa, we rang Daniela and Claudia and asked them to check their houses too. No luck. We were going to check the few places Paul and the boys had been the day before on our way to Florence when we got a phone call from Claudia. She happened to be at the same bank Paul had been to the day before and who did she happen to see? Scruffy!!!! I think I was more relived than anyone but Brodie was very happy to be reunited with his beloved ...
