... a hill the sight of The Basilica is astounding. The whole town is perched on the side of the hill. An incredibly old town with skinny, windy roads. The hotel is fabulous with great views from the room and public areas out side, down across the valley below. Free a quick check in we returned to the bus to have a guided tour of the old part of Assisi and the Basilica. It was a difficult walk up steep winding roads. Once inside more ...

Joey heard an announcement that she thought said track 5, I opted to confirm again with the friendly customer care ...

... just makes sense to shut down. At Bano, we were treated literally, to the largest meal of my life. It started with a plate of sample appetizers. Several sides of pizza also came out. However pizza here is basically flatbread, mildly seasoned. There is no sauce, cheese or toppings on it. After the appetizers came large single bowls of squid, small snail like shells (where you needed a toothpick to get the "meat" out), and ...

... to burn off. We got to ride in the back of the tractor down into the bottom of the vineyard then walked our way back. From there we went back to the factory and toured every possible part of the process, from dumping the grapes off, to yeast fermentation to aging to bottling. We were then treated to a wine and cheese tasting where we bought wine and met the general manager. We then drove to Monte ...
