Feast of the Immaculate Conception
Perugia to Rome
My time in Perugia has come to a close. Paul's meditation group was the largest since we’ve been attending. There were around 400 folks that came together to raise the roof in easy pose (among other poses, to be sure). It is always quite the experience to meet and share conversation with folks from across the globe that have gathered with the ...
Leaving Assisi
... more than ample, but most of all it has been the feel of the place we have loved, to use an Australianism from our iconic movie,The Castle, 'the vibe'. Assisi changes every day. It is about 1.5 k outside the walls of old Assisi and it was here that Francis heard God's voice speak to him from ...
Another amazing day in Assisi
... basis of 'Trust that your legs will take you where you need to go.' Seems to be working.Tonight we went back to the same restaurant, Osteria Pozzo della Mensa, (Via del Pozzo Mensa, 11/b) which is fast becoming our favourite eating place in Assisi. The chef is Claudio Bellinzani, who has worked in Tuscany and in Santa Cruz in Northern California. He is not just an excellent chef, but a lovely man, who loves to chat about Assisi and food and wine. We highly recommend Osteria Pozzo. ...
