... beautiful place with the village full of white-washed buildings scattered around a maze of little streets and alley ways. Just at it seemed that Santorini was made for couples, Mykonos was make for singles and the party life. This is one place that I want to return to again.

... to not get so caught up with what you've achieved in life, as to get caught up in how you are living and celebrating life. Because I promise you, one day all of our oh-so-important-stuff is going to be washed over just like the Romans. And we'll be a quaint little blip on the map of history.

Apparently, there were only a few taxi's on the island and one wonders why anyone would take one when two large cruise ships were in town. You see, not only was our ship, the Ruby Princess, carrying 3,100 passengers in port but the Celebrity cruise ship was also in port. Od was complaining about his elbow hurting, I thought the worst but decided to take him to the hopsital at 3am (we were rudely told that we had to come back to the hosptial for an x-ray in the morning at 10am. ... Greece's beaches are supposedly nude, but we didn't see too much of that. Spent the day at that beach and then checked our Psorou and Super Paradise. Psorou may be the best kept secret beach on the island, very nice and quiet with good looking people, and Super Paradise is another loud one where people are dancing to disco music at 2 pm. Strange. How on Earth did I get to be so lucky?

My family and I went on a cruise of the Greek Islands. We ate a lot, got sea sick once, soaked up the sun, and absorbed the classically beautiful white and blue colours on the islands. There weren't very much ship activities that my sister and I were interested in but Allyson and I did win a bingo game! Mykonos was by far our favorite island because of its beauty.
