I have officially signed my new contract, and it looks like I’ll continue to live in the same apartment next year which is convenient. Most of the same teachers and staff will also be there, so I won’t have to worry about learning new names and all that stuff!

There is another guy who is in the room who has been living there for a month he has a laptop and seems to be harmless and I chat with him before heading out to get some food for dinner. I return type my blog and then have a shower before retiring to bed at around 9.30pm. Thank goodness for blindfolds and earplugs they have been a godsend this trip. Nite Nite Weimar, I dont speak German.

Good afternoon from Germany!

If you are like me, you may be wondering what happened to the last week! I am still looking over my shoulder and expecting a bit of it to come up and bite me. I hope this finds everyone happy and healthy…things in Germany are going well. It has been a busy week at school once again. It is crazy to be living in a place as interesting as Germany, yet to be totally honest, the routine of going to school and working makes it seem pretty regular. Of course the evenings keep it interesting.

Well, that’s about it. Sorry I don’t have lots of exciting adventures to tell about. I guess this is real life. (Ya work, ya come home, ya make dinner, ya prepare for the next day, and ya go to bed.) I promise I will go traveling sometime and then maybe these emails will be worth reading.
