... dropped us. Not much happening there - a bit of shopping, a farmers market and some sights. We stopped for a beer at a local hostelry.

By 3:00 we were back in board and headed for the downtown again. We arrived and took a look at one of the canal cruise boats, The William Shakespeare, and snapped a photo or 2.

Next, we decided to find a bit of supper. But first, we had to check Mcdonalds to see if they served beer. They didn't - they did in Salzburg ...

Eventually my exploration time was interrupted by the alarm on my watch telling me I had to stand heading south toward ...

The drive to Dusseldorf was slightly awkward as I chose to sit in the front seat of the taxi and there was hardly any conversation which was a mistake on my behalf, it’s not like the driver could sit anywhere else. Once I arrived at my hotel, the ‘Wyndham Garden Dusseldorf City Centre Koennigsalle’ I was greeted by a familiar face… the Rhein, but ...

... wasn't too bad! The point of this story is while I was sitting there eating my soup and weird beer, I hear this siren that sounded like a bomb siren. The odd bit was that nobody even batted an eyelid. It kept going off for ages and still nobody seemed to notice it. So I'm still not sure what it was but I didn't get bombed. 3 fire trucks flew past a few minutes later I'm not sure if it was related lol. So it came time to leave Dusseldorf and head for Amsterdam. I get ...
