The museum was "really great, a huge amount of artifacts. Mostly from the late Roman Empire. I really liked seeing the Trier historical section, how the city rose up, the time periods and influences. We took the bus out to Consdorf where we had the idea of walking to Mullerthal. Started off in Consdorf at camp ground and Matt played on the soccer pitch, then somehow managed to get on the wrong trail, and then took a few wrong turns and ended up in a neighboring town. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is the only Grand Duchy in the world, which of course makes the think of the Grand Duchy of Fenwick from the book and movie "The Mouse That Roared" about a little medieval country in the Alps thqt goes invqdes the United Stqtes and wins. We end up having bbq with her and her husband finishing 4 bottles of wine on 5 adults.
Interesting thing is that due to the treat of river flooding they live in the 1st floor. The basement is what they let to travelers.
