"eins, zwei, drei, vier, five, six, seiben"…ICH CUMA!!!!! screamed Leandro as after the boat ride he came barrelling in and jovially started to play hide and seek with les deux filles! Hmm..looks like Talia's english was paying off!

"one, five, two, trois, quatre, seiben"…Avaia was now awake and playing.

It was truly a magical day - a day at the lake, with friends feeling like you've never been apart!

I was trying to reach Lucern, but didn't expect the quantity of hills I had first along the lakes past Interlaken, then the crazy climb over the Brünig pass. Plus it rained heavily in the morning.

Interlaken was beautiful, but super touristy. My favorite part of the day was the rainy morning along the lakes and the awesome views on the descent to Lungern.

I was in Paris overnight, then got dropped off in Bern the following day. Bern is such a cute town. As far as capital cities go, this has by far the best feel. I had two rather calm days. Saw the bears in their enclosure which is in the middle of the city. (Bern is named after the bears). From Bern I had overnight in the Swiss alpine village of Lauterbrunnen and then went straight onto Lake Como. I met some ...
