    ... for Mike in order to continue with the next few days events of Mountain Biking and Via Ferrata for which smart leather shoes would simply not suffice! The architecture changed suddenly to typically Alpine lodges with murals painted on the sides of the buildings, and the fields became meadows dotted with little rustic log huts, and the road went up and up.     ... rocks go for miles and miles. The ski lifts go right up over the rocks and are so high off the ground, the ride would not be for the faint of heart. The rocks are a white and light brown color with little to no vegetation on most of them. From below the jagged rocks look razer sharp so I can't believe what they would look like up close.
