    ... goodbyes and packed the car once more. After leaving Fürstenfeldbruck, we drove back to the Autobahn to complete the A99 ring route around Munich. This is the closest I have been to the capital city of Bavaria and the city is absolutely huge. It took us almost an hour to drive all the way around it and we ended up on the A8 on the way to Salzburg, Austria.

    Then the highway became a sort of European Union of cars. There were number plates from Germany, Austria, Italy, ...

    My dad has had Riedel glasses for years... Little did we know, they are made in Kufstein!!!!!!!!! So when we found out we decided to go there and get a self guided tour of the Riedel glass factory. We were surprised at how small the insides were about 50ftx100ft. the glassblowing was awesome- you got to see how they shaped the glass with a cup and with a mold. And man was it hot in there! Those workers have to deal with serious furnace ...

    ... got into the groove and let go of the brake to make a speedy decent.

    After our adrenalian dump we all needed to slow it down a little and decided to visit the animal farm at Oedberg. Roy, the animal lover he is, may have gotten a little too close and personal with one large pig who decided to give him a little nip. Ahh well that's how they learn where not to put their fingers.

    ... distillery. We decided to do the tour of the distillery with the highlight of a tasting session at the end. As we are not whiskey drinkers this was a different experience for the both of us and we are still not too sure if whiskey would be a drink of choice for us. Nathan is happier to stick to gin in the spirits area while Traci is happy to stick to mainly water :)

    ... which is uninhabited. The ferry is a quick 15 minutes. Once on the island it is about a 20 minute walk through a forest to the Palace (I noted that if you want you can also take a ride around on a horse drawn carriage).
