... all in a good sense of humour after such a great day.
As we are a group we are not allowed to sit in the main restaurant but
instead are given tables in a side room. Here in this room are large buffet
tables with everything from fruit to meats etc and so we all get up and simply
help ourselves to a starter.
As we all sit here eating the restaurant manager comes storming in and in a

... What spoilt the ambience was one, and only one, tiny piece of dog poo (so someone in Switzerland is inconsiderate or lets their dog out by itself?)

The time had come to take the plunge… a local hostelry had to be visited to see the lie of the drinks land. Outcome not too bad compared to expectations, CHF 11.50 (8) for a pint and Bailey’s coffee and we were sitting down at the time!

... at a church in another village to see the hand carved headstones in the graveyard. Each individual has a wooden plaque with his hobbies carved on one side and his/her profession on the other. The workmanship is remarkable with pictures of the deceased in frames. Not something that would withstand the elements in Florida. ... its now cash, which is likely spent on beer. Great idea for the brewery. After a morning of beer sampling ... well its after midday somewhere in the world, we went to absolve our sins, with a visit to a Cathedral in St Florian. This Cathedral is dedicated to a Roman soldier (Florian) who converted to Christianity, and was subsequently killed, when he was drowned in a nearby river ... nice!
