I am one step further in my travel preps. Well, actually, two dives further! I passed the theoretical diving exam and then got to start with the lessons. My diving instructor suggested to go into the shallow waters of Lake Constance to instead of the pool for the first lessons.

Having looked at the distance to The Black Forest on the map and taking account of our previous mileages, we've decided that:
50mph is a relaxing speed to travel at (and limited to that in Germany anyway although a friendly German camper tells us that we should now meet the 100% car/caravan ratio. This means we should be able to get the 100 kph test certificate to travel at 60 on motorways?)

We coaxed an uninterrupted 20 km out of him the other morning, and his cruising speed is only a little less than what we manage if he hops in Harry and Lou tows his bike.
