Today we left the buzz of the city and throngs of tourists behind and headed for the hills. Five hours later we settled in a lovely little town high in the alpine with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and valley below. And yes, the water was ...

It's time to say take a back seat Norway,Switzerland has quickly replaced you at the top of the ‘places I would love to live’ list. Wow-wee, boy-oh-boy. A land of ridiculous green-ness, breathtaking vistas, snow capped mountains, good-looking people and chocolate, chocolate, chocolate.

We were due to arrive in Switzerland after Albi, but a quaint French town on the banks of Lake Nantua (never knew this place ...
