... selling punche and local cuisine like bratwurst, sauerkraut and apple strudel. The main market near the river had a Christmas tree made from Swarovski crystals!  Our hotel is beautiful. We are on the 4th floor and look out over the old town and up to the ski slopes. There is a bar downstairs, which has a fire and looks out to the Imperial Gardens. ... pros and were not used at all in our lesson - don't bother hiring them on day one.

From here our ski school are took us and the rest of the people in our group up to the gondola, which took us up to the school's base and beginner slope on nordkette mountain.

We had an hour to kill, so Dan taught himself to ski while I made a dick of myself and decide to sit on the sideline and wait for the instructor.

We've played like kids in the snow, had snow ball fights, built a snow man (sort of), jumped in it, fell in it, and thoroughly looked like deadset tourists haha. I love snow!
