No problem with the flight, though as I arrived a bit earlier I had to wait an hour before check in opened just milling around the check-in terminal checking out all the trendy Japanese lol. I jumped in line before it got too long, the queue for the business line was just as long as the economy one. ... the boat which took us for a 20min ride on the lake but unfortunately the weather was so cloudy with grey skies that we could not spot Mt Fuji. However, it was one of the most scenic places I had ever visited in my life. Surrounded by mountains on 3 sides, it was picturesque.

... can watch us move across the map. Quite fun to follow. It's also great getting snacks and drinks. No sushi though, I know Katrine must be disappointed. Lots of good macha tea though, which is nice! It's also been good for my throat, which gets very dry, and Katrine is drinking lots of juice. With the time changes and sleeping periods between meals, it is hard to keep up with the "time of day". Katrine's watch is set to Ottawa ...

... on stopping in Japan this early on and therefore didn't have my coat out, it is 3.4 degrees celsius. Fortunately, I had my fleece and long sleeves. We waited and waited for the bus, at 2150 the bus finally arrived, and took us to the hotel. We got to the hotel, in this foreign land, "I did exchange a little cash at the airport fortunately".
