... We have walked a ton today. Eldon even walked further. Once we got settled in our hotel and went to get on the Internet he realized he's left a major component to plug in his computer at the hotel we stayed in last night. So, he had to schlep up the hill about a kilometer to a store that charged him an arm and a leg for what he left behind. Oh well, accidents do happen. I'm just glad it happened to him and not me.

Well we headed into town to run an errand and saw a bit of the local festival with alpen horn and yodeling really getting the very few there going. Festival is called Benichon ( a purely local festival fete celebrating the autumn harvest for religious reasons) ( I think they bring the cows down from the hills to the plains as well but we will miss that).- I'm sure its been busy ...
... called Sinalco at the summit restaurant (a rare treat in our family). Even though it was cloudy, we had a magnificent 360 panoramic view of the surrounding region including lake Geneva and the Fribourg Pre-Alps. Both Sam Jackson and Catherine felt a strong sense of accomplishment that day.
