... to in Geneva people were really well dressed. Felt very European with the cafe culture and cobbled streets in parts. It was impossible to find cheap beds, even dorm beds were pushing 45 francs each (!) so ended up spending a bit over budget, but got some great accommodation in a modern guest house apartment - just down the street from the strip club and brothel. Location, location.

... wear scarves". We both really noticed it. All french girls seemed to be wearing them. Sam was glad she had brought hers. She wished she had brought a few more things that didn't mind being tumble-dried, because washing line space isn't easy in Europe, compared with UK . Will be looking forward to getting back to the UK to have more room for natural drying, but of course home will always be best when it comes to our clothes and shoes.

... to walk. Suppose to clear up but will be 1 overnight and 3 in teh morning.. a high of 8 tho! To think, we were in shorts and t shirts 2 days ago! Now i have all my clothes on. The roof is up now but will be down tonite and kathleen and i top and tailing to keep warm..... We dont have a heater but as soon as you light the gas stove its warm in about a minute...! woo hoo....
