... we got back to mürren township we went into the supermarket and bought some lunch and I bought a shot glass souvenir which has the mountains on it. We went back to Lara's holiday house and ate lunch in the sun, with the Swiss alps staring at us right off the balcony! Was such a stunning view as the weather was so nice! I had arranged earlier that I was going to do a paraglide through the alps, so as it was approaching 2.30pm we packed up ...

The shops around each station turn ...

... it was so tranquil when I was there last week, and now a serious accident on the Via dell'Amore, which has always seemed the safest of the trails.

After breakfast I briefly checked E-mail and then noticed that the sun was starting to shine. I figured that may be a good time to head for Grindelwald, so got my gear together and headed for the station. I had decided to take the alternate route to Grindelwald, rather than going up through Kleine Scheidegg ...

... grass with a scythe and a lady sweeping out the water trough, made of a hollowed out log.We sat in what might be the smallest public park anywhere and enjoyed a cup of tea while we waited for the clouds to lift.

From there we walked up to the much bigger town of Murren where we managed to see the peaks of Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau, but not necessarily all at the same time as the cloud kept moving in and out. They really are ...
