... Ferrata complete with ladders, chimneys, traverse, slabs and crevasse sections. Ellie was great and put her gymnastic moves to good use in some full stretches. Renato helped support Ellie up some of the vertical bits that required some upper body strength, but otherwise Ellie did the whole thing and loved it! ... for Mike in order to continue with the next few days events of Mountain Biking and Via Ferrata for which smart leather shoes would simply not suffice! This was followed by a quick trip round the local Supermarket to get more supplies and then quite a posh dinner at the caravan courtesy of the Cadac.....Piri Piri Chicken with Mozzarella Tomato salad, Lemon and Coriander Couscous, Salad and Olive Bread. The emergency run off ramps (with lots of tyre marks to show regular use) added to the tension, and with 3 Tons of Truck and Caravan I could smell the brakes were getting very hot. Today we took a trip up from 262m above sea level (Bolzano) to 1220m above via cable car. The photos unfortunately do not do the views justice. We spent a few hours wandering along amazing walking paths. This is a place that deserves a few days stop in anyone's itinary. ... rocks go for miles and miles. The ski lifts go right up over the rocks and are so high off the ground, the ride would not be for the faint of heart. The rocks are a white and light brown color with little to no vegetation on most of them. From below the jagged rocks look razer sharp so I can't believe what they would look like up close.

It was quite cold at the summit with another ski lift going even higher to the tip top ...
