Landed around 6am, we just sat around at the airport for an hour filling in time before going to the hotel and of course the room wasn't ready but we could freshen up and leave our bags. ... was that the floors spinned in slow circles so that you could get a view of the alps 360 degrees around.
Thursday was Swiss National day, and we went to a nearby city to be part of the celebration. When we were there I met a group of kids that "Loved me" according to one of the seven year olds. The seven year old boy wanted to marry me, it was really funny! Bye for now!-Abby

Today we stopped to look at the Heidelberg Castle which is up on a hill overlooking the town it is being restored. Continued via Strasbourg to Giswil where we stayed in these lovely chalets set in the mountains the view was spectacular like something out of a movie. Geraldine went into labour today so when we stopped at Strasbourg we walked up the bell tower of the Cathedral of Nottredam which means our lady in German ...

... and braved the suspension bridge which hung from the side of the mountain. Although we were high above the snow line it wasn't particularly cold. We were comfortable in t-shirts. The time went quickly and we caught the gondolas back to the bottom of the mountain where our coach was waiting. I was amazed to learn that Swiss cows really do wear bells so they don't get lost on the mountains. The farmers even know their individual beasts by the different tones of their bells. A great ...
