    There are a pair of swimming lakes in the valley below the house and on this lovely evening the car park is filled with bikes of all descriptions.

    We are warmly welcomed by Klaus and Frau Rieder and book in for two nights. Our comfortable room and breakfast costs just €27 each, a good deal in Austria.

    ... completed the round trip to Payerbach and back to Murzzuschlag. Fantastic views. Then we visited the Sudbahn railway museum that had a great collection of trains and memorabilia , and an amazing collection of rail push carts and rail motors from all eras from about 1900.

    Missed the bus back, then missed the train back, so caught a taxi as the heavens opened! I will not moan about the rain, but we have had more than our fair ...

    ... 24th) we decided to get dressed up and have a classy evening at a local restaurant and wine bar, Pusswald. The food was beautiful. And the wine was lovely!
