... fluffy snow so not nearly as bad as Michigan snow! We went out to some restaurant which was crazy, like our waiter was crazy and wearing cow pants. I got a burger and it was not beef :/ It was like pale white meat and tasted weird, some other girl got it and said it tasted like horse (how she knows what horse taste like is beyond me). I ended up getting sick from it later I think. After that I had a swiss chocolate tasting and it was so good. I ...

First off, my apologies for the long absence. I can say that this has been the first moment since I left my host family in Spain that I haven't been in chaotic travel mode. ... the inside is typical or not. But, it has a cabin-y feel...wood everything. It smells fresh and clean, like the woods after a good rain (this may be because we are in the woods and it is raining).

Everyone has accepted euro (if they didn’t take credit card) which was lucky for us because we haven’t found an ATM. Also, every person we’ve come in contact with, even a man having a smoke in the rain who we asked for directions, ...

... we briefly passed through AUSTRIA. We stopped at the town of Bregenz, aka Brigantium, which is a quaint little Austrian town on Lake Constanze. We enjoyed Austria's many narrow winding roads, surrounded on both sides by peaceful scenery of grazing cows and goats. Their bells ringing a nice tune as they go. And let me note, every time you stopped somewhere and opened a door, all you could smell was cow. It's not an unpleasant smell, just very definitely.. ...
