Some of the most breathtaking scenery we have seen ever !!!! We drove along the valley floor looking at what we thought we're some special views, until we started climbing up to Grossglockner and were amazed at the scenery. We reached a height of 2500m, with snow capped mountains surrounding us. Wearing shorts and thongs on a beautiful clear and …

railway yard and station. The whole place was open to all and still quite well
left as it was when it closed. Old papers and items still laying there with
dates on them from 1970. It was an incredible find.
Onwards I head along this wonderful twisty but rather hi speed road. How
great it was to be back in a more civilised country where most motorists drive
to rules and respect. I felt so much safer today than ...

So here we are, getting set for our 2014 Balkan Adventure. After 2 days of ferocious packing and cleaning, as we vacate what has been our Reception, Bar and Restaurant for the last six and a half years, we have collapsed in a heap pending some last minute personal packing and 'making ourselves look beautiful' preparations - so much to do, so little time!

      As some ...
