        ... water. The boats on the lake are all electric to preserve the cleanliness and peacefulness of the area. At one point on the trip the guide gets his trumpet out, and plays a tune next to the cliffside called the Echowand, and depending on the weather the notes echo one or two times - all very funky ...

        ... out of him at one stage.... even though he reckoned he didn't know the lyrics :) It was a fun tour - Wends and Lisa - you would have loved it ! and I'm sure you would have done yourselves proud during the sing-a-long bits - we were thinking about you :) Hope some of you die hard Julie Andrews fans recognise a few of the locations in the photos.... enjoy.... I'm off to watch the film again to spot some of the shots :) ...

        ... br> We spent the morning visiting the Dom Quartier, where the Archbishop designed his capital city to rival those in Italy. It's pretty opulent and expansive. We also went through the Panorama city which is an exhibit of paintings arranged around a circular building where the interior is painted as the old Salzburg. It's very interesting and looks like a painted version of Disneyland's 360 degree video attraction.

        ... the kasnock'n that Axel had ordered and let us taste. We liked it so much we wanted to have our own plate. Since it also came with a salad, that was going to be plenty for the both of us. The dish is a much nicer version of mac & cheese.

        I was also looking forward to having the radler that started my thirst for radlers. I think that had I not had the Grapefruit Stiegl Radler, I would not have been as enthusiastic ...
