... it's teeming with foreigners. Watch out for the overpriced very bad Italian food and lookout for the tiny restaurants and stand up coffee bars for a reasonably priced authentic Italian experience. I enjoyed a free walking tour on my first day in this city and found a few gems when it comes to food: 1. Buy your espresso to go or stand up. Sitting down will cost you am additional 3 euro. 2. Avoid buying anything in San Marco square. A coffee at the ...

From there, we pressed on to St. Peter's Church. The ...

As the weather was forecast to be sunny we'd planned to go up to the Fortress/castle today. Dale and I were there 3 years ago and thought that the kids would enjoy it. Bel and I took the Funicular up while Dale and Elias walked. The walk was very steep, in some places one must use the strips of wood laid into the ground as to not slide down the hill. It must have been very difficult to haul the stones and wood up in order to ...

... in. It's a quant little wooden gingerbread house looking backpackers that's called 'the treehouse'. It's run by about 5 people that wait on you hand and foot baking up massive home cooked meals (we had lasagne for lunch). If only there was more time. We arrived in Salzburg, dumped our gear and headed straight out to Red Bull's Hangar 7, home to ...
