... a beautiful old town on the lake. It was tricky to find somewhere to park but we decided to try the chairlift car park in Obertraun. We walked back to Hallstatt, about 40mins, and looked through town. We stopped at the Skull house where they keep old skulls that have been removed from their graves. It was strange but interesting! By time we got back to the van we unpacked our packs, cooked up some dinner and went to ...

... culminated in the entire tour bus singing "Edelweiss" then sadly (though predictably) "The time has come for me to say goodnight!"

Back in Salzburg, we visited the Mirrabell Gardens where they filmed quite a bit of Do Re Mi, then went into the old town to get some Italian for dinner as we're all schnitzeled out.
Wandered around the old town a little more then took Mum back to the hotel as she's still not feeling 100%.

... and starts in August. I wouldn't want to be him! I can't imagine doing the CPA after this trip. I checked back into my hostel and signed up for the Sound of Music tour that was leaving in 20 minutes. I met these 2 girls that just graduate from MIT and we hung out during the tour sine I am pretty sure we were the only college people on the tour. We first drove through Salzburg to get to 2 stops within the city. I learned many facts about the movie and basically they ...
