... he is still kicking. Th local copper, just about to start his dinner said ' come off the grass he is no more alive than this ere roast chicken'. You guessed it, at that point the chicken apparently just jumped up and did a bit of a jig between the cutlery. ... are walking the planned 30 kms, but we only did 19.7 to Ventosa. Our feet certainly don't need any more kms than that today. Found a great little private Albergue with a rear courtyard, kitchen, general store & laundry. 10 in a very small room though so could be an interesting night. Made ourselves lunch in the courtyard then wandered down for a coffee. Got a needle & thread for my blister so hoping for ...

... right. Yep, still with me? The left road clearly had a Camino monument which indicated we were on the right path. Unfortunately, the corresponding painted arrows also included 'hotel'. Three quarters of the way in Errin says to me "maybe we should turn back" to which I reply "if it's leading us to a hotel, there has to be an exit back to the correct path".
