I arrived in Logrono mid –afternoon and was informed that it was the start of their Labour Day Long weekend and there wouldn't be many establishments open. There were quite a few locals out enjoying their Friday night and the much welcomed extra day off on the coming Monday. I couldn't organise any better accommodation so again I found myself t the Council-run Albergue. I can safely say that this last experience has definitely turned ...

... later walking mainly boring track and meeting up with a crowd of Germans who were walking the Camino with a bus in tow , honest, no bloody ruck sack to carry and hop on Bus when tired - some of the women had make up on - you can only imagine the language from Sheila! Well after that we thought Sod it, so now we 3 are settled in a lovely quite room with a bar opposite and promise of breakfast ...
