... was at 1:00. Perfect. We looked for a tourist info centre and found one very close to the cathedral ... it had with internet terminals. Perfect. We asked about a laundry place, and there was one between the cathedeal and the tourism place we had just walked by. Perfect. As for cafe's, there were about 10 within spitting distance. Could it get any beter?? Actually YES!!!

We didn't have soap for the laundry, but lo, the washing machine had soap incuded in ...

... and the pleasure of my own company saw me enjoying a cold beer and a glass of red with some wonderful fried calamari (minus the crumbs). A cleansing ale to finish in the company of Roik (I think) from Holland while we watched the last of the soccer.I am not rushing off first thing in the morning as I want to spend time in the cathedral and soak up this place a little longer.

After this we did some more walking around, got in a brief visit to the New Cathedral, before getting back on the bus for the drive over to Pamplona. We began walking at 6:35 a.m. at first light, continuing thru the fields similar to yesterday. We arrived in Santo Domingo de la Calzada at 8:10 after 4.4 miles and stopped at Bar Piedra in the old part of town, just around the corner from the Cathedral.
