Solid sleep up and out by 6:30. 20 steps to brekky and coffee today then Hi Hooooooo! 6km to the first town for a 2nd coffee and today we crossed the 200km down mark so we're 25% down the road to Santiago.

... I met two young women, one from NZ and the other from UK. They had run out of water and still had at least an hour to walk. I contributed to my eternal salvation by donating a litre of water which we would not need. For us it was about a two hour walk and scramble, for other walkers it would have been the end of a 22 hour walk. He was cooking up a storm in the albergue kitchen and wanted me to join him in a meal but I was a little shy of such open hospitality.  Hope the rain goes away. Short walk tomorrow only 20k.
