Dia de Muertos and Acapulco
I just noticed that at the end of my last entry I warned you that there would be nothing more from me until after "partials". However, I have also just realised that the stress just keeps on coming, since there are only 3 more weeks of classes and in 4 weeks' time it will all be over! That means that actually the stress levels will not decrease now until I finish! Nonetheless I thought I should at least try and update what has ...
Acapulco
not really much happened here. Went to the paque papagayo, which Nev loved. The playground got pretty hot by lunchtime. We stayed in an old colonial style hotel centered on a lush courtyard. first night we went to the zocalo, which had a bounce house, and ate at a restaurant there. single room in downtown Jo'burg , would you a. take off at first
light, b. stay and have breakfast which cost about the same price as
we were paying for ...
Acapulco
... the Visa card did not work there!! We had to leave without it. Sorry but I bet the shop was cross as they had cut it! We walked back to the ship arriving at 4.00 utterly exhausted and with not much for your school. We were banking on Huatalco, Mexico the next day.
Acapulco was a lovely place, and the taxis were cheap. We had a good day and enjoyed it enormously.
Love to you all.
