... can't believe I actually got to experience it!
The first thing we saw when we got off the bus was a dog sledding team, I knew immediately that I would love it up there. The dogs were all so excited to get running and I was just holding myself back from going up and saying hi to all of them!

Because it went well the first time down that route and my improvement between the first two runs I took... I thought I'd try it again.
This time however, I hadn't given my legs the chance to take a break and I didn't have the strength to slow down so I had several major wipe outs ...
... for entry. As it is a magnetic system most people just need to have the card in their pocket close to the card reader and the gate will swing open admitting them as they approach. A simple and fairly quick way to manage big crowds especially at peak times. All this works really well, unless you loose your card!

On our second day in a France the remainder of the party arrived. David Evans with his daughter Kelly, his partner Tanya Mc Kenzie and her son Rowan along with Lawrence and Caroline Handcock and their two children Georgie and Sam. So with the three Rattray boys, Andrews wife Anele and baby Emily and Nicky and I that made 14 adults and a baby for the two hour bus trip to Val D' Isere. And it was fun! This is a lively crowd who have all been friends for a long time ...
... much that 15000 people were stranded en route to the mountains. Luckily, we were already there.
We were completely spoiled in Aussois (and we benefitted from the early "no snow" reduced prices). Our hotel was a beautiful small family run establishment with a Michelin recognized chef and a staff ...
