... on us (maybe Signora Jack?) didn't seem too happy. Maybe we were interrupting a planned siesta or something. It was a gorgeous place and the Calabrese antipasto and fried calamari were excellent. After driving a bit more, we had Tim (our lovely British GPS voice) direct us to Siderno (which we started calling see Derono) where we veered back northwest to Rosarno and then north to head home. We went through some extremely long tunnels and seemed to ...

... br> Pizza tonight was amazing and a friend of Antonio's with many Soo connections, joined us. Rosaria Cuglietta is related to many people in the Soo that we know, and she's actually been there a few times. What an incredibly small world. Antonio and I had a serious talk about raising children and he almost brought me to tears. He is an amazing father and I have a new found respect for him. Tomorrow, more arrivals!! Stay tuned ...

... s music and there were some hippy dippy outfits going on!! Antonio, Filippo, Bartosz and the girls came up. We asked Antonio about life in Cleto and where people work. He thinks the town is about half the size and work is difficult to come by. Many work the land or work in the few restaurants or drive outside of town for work. It makes me sad that the town is shrinking like it is. Tomorrow we start our good-byes as Alessandro and family leave us. Not looking forward to that ...
