... that was closed the other night, which Enzo, Adriana, and Federico all say is the best gelateria in Calabria. They weren't lying. The pistachio gelato was so good it actually made me sad--because I don't think I will ever be able to enjoy pistachio ice cream ever again, it will always be a let down compared to this. I am definitely going to try to go there again before I leave.

... on top of each other, here the two gelato flavors are served side by side in the cone. I got half pistachio gelato and half amaretto gelato, and it was unbelievably delicious.

While we were in the gelateria, I saw a couple of people order gelato to-go, like how Americans will sometimes get hand-packed pints. I now understand where the concept of "Neapolitan" ice ...

... So we did, and we made a bunch of other ornaments too. Unfortunately we didn't have any food coloring, so after a failed attempt at using tumeric to make the dough yellow, we decided to just color our fingers with markers and use them to add color.
Not exactly an English lesson, but I think it worked out well. ...
