... We got excited about having lunch on a ferry, eating spaghetti and watching the sea getting blown into longer white crested waves. Now, it's five o'clock and to the north west I have seen Spain. It's nearly time to pack our bags and get ready to disembark. We will travel a short distance from the port to a hotel next to Barcelona Sants station. In the morning we catch the train south to ...

... br> on these waters. Abit annoying especially as they do make a large wake which bashes eventually against the transom.

    Sunday 2 August
We moved back to the anchorage near Mao. Being a Sunday it was extremely crowded, luckily most were day trippers so by the end of the evening there was decent space between the boats.

    Monday 3 August
Took diesel and water at the fuel pontoon and then headed for the floating pontoon. Cant believe we got charged 10E for water and all we took was 330 litres. We were charged 49E for the privilege of mooring on a pontoon with absolutely no facilities.

... got off the bus, walked for 30 minutes on a path under a burning sun with 35 degrees (no trees in the paths, just bushes). But it was worth, to get to Cala Sabina!!! It's a awesome bay with astonishing colours! We stayed there a few hours enjoying some snorkeling and taking pictures of the fishes swimming in the very shallow and crystal-clear water.

My flight from Dublin arrived in Alghero at 2 pm.
I went straight to the beach! I really missed the sun and the Sardinian sea!!!
I love my land and I love Alghero. Alghero is always Alghero, 'cause it has the beaches, and what beaches! And also, it has some movida at night, and nice shops, restaurant and bars...
Alghero has a soul that catches you, wherever you come ...
