... Switzerland has "Happy Hens" too, there is no chicken penned in Switzerland for meat or eggs, they are all free range.
It was not cold but it was overcast, can't complain as it didn't rain much, so could still walk around without an umbrella up.
Little churches in each town, often both Catholic with a cross on top of the tower and an Anglican with a cock on the top.

... almost triple Aussie prices. We did try our first traditional Swiss dish which was very tasty and filling - the servings are pretty large.
The next day we decided to have another go and drive to Interlaken, about 50 minutes away. A very pretty smaller town also surrounded with mountains. We pass weary cyclists peddling their way up the mountain, and one stopped with a flat tyre! We also pass fields of cows and they really do wear bells ...

We made it!! After a 7 hour flight and a loss of 6 hours due to the time change we have established Thalwil, Switzerland as our home base! We were greeted at the airport in Zurich by our coach's friend, Dave, who runs Ruder Club Thalwil, or the Thalwil rowing club. He led the way via train to this cute little town about 15 minutes outside of the city.
