      ... left late & ate up 14 mins. So we only had 2 mins to make the connection. Believe me it was just like in amazing race, as we made the 100 yard dash, at a sprinters pace to make the connection. Marilyn was about 30 yards behind as I got to the train. She was worried that I was going to leave her behind. Would I do that?

      ... VERY cold and it got down to 7 degrees there. So I wore my new warm coat – tag still on it as I hadn’t taken it off yet. We had a nice light lunch in a pretty café. On to Salzburg.       ... early, so it was closed. But the views were incredible! We could actually see six different glaciers in the mountains! And one of the nearby mountains had this weird rippling in the soil that I think is caused by the permafrost of the alpine tundra unfreezing and refreezing.
