... signage at station and no directions on hotel web site. Hotel 4 Viale Masini modern and comfy for 64e. Room faced Main Street to west and was 28deg when I arrived. Reception said law made them turn off aircon on 15 Oct!! Fortunately could open window a bit. Lunch at tabac/bar next door- cheese salad with good bread. ... a quick macchiato. Joanna was right on time - it was probably obvious I was the student as apart from the very old lady having coffee (who looked like a regular) I was the only other solo person. ... through to the remains below. The tour of the ancient remains was closed - didn't open again until 3pm. There is no consistency with when places are open or closed - some closed for a late morning/lunch time siesta and then reopen and stay open until 8ish, while other places close at 4pm for the day.
