Arrived in Switzerland today after a 10 hour bus ride. It went surprisingly fast with lots of sleeping, chatting and watching movies on the bus. Arrived in a tiny little village in Switzerland called Lauterbrunnen. Unfortunately it is still raining but it is a beautiful place. The snow and the mountains remind me very much of home. It is crazy we are so close to snow but it doesn't feel that cold. If it wasn't raining ...

They carry a battery pack and a little motor under the pedal axle to make pedalling up any hill easy. All sounds good up to this point. ... walked along the river to find a cafe that had available seating for us. The shops had all closed up for lunch time and the cafe scene was hopping. It feels to us like the cloak of winter has lifted from this area and people are longing to feel the sun on their faces. We are old and have had enough sun, so we found plenty of open seating on the other side of the river, in the shade. It was yet another lovely meal...but ...

... to Murren. In Lautterbrunnen we ran into Dee and Deens. Dee had been looking for Jesus. (not as in the son of god but our Mexican buddy) It turns out he had accidentally signed up for Jung Frau and missed the train! (The train tickets are non-refundable) Jesus left us to speak with the train company to try getting a refund. We were sad to see him leave but understood and proceeded ...
