We arrived in Venice and took a Water Bus to the hotel... It took some getting used to find out where we were and how to navigate around town but we got it. My relatives arrived later that day and we walked around the small alley ways finding ourselves in San Marco's Square. We took in the sites and enjoyed a fine dinner with relatives sharing a few laughs... Tomorrow we plan on doing some shopping and the Gondola ...

... St Palo is and we walk to the Pizza restaurant again that was closed last night. We find it closed again, but this time we see a sign that reads it's closed for renovations. We start walking back towards our hotel and see a bar called Da Sandro and stop for a drink. That owner talks us into eating a soup which he has take. 3 days to Make in honour of Della Madonna salute. It's really nice and we chat to a girl from Munich named Eva. ... last July, none of the small shops would take Euros. So we found a ATM and I withdrew 100 Kuna. Edie promptly bought 2 cokes for 44 kuna. So I had withdrawn about $20. Even so the cokes were expensive. We then set off for the seaside resort of Cavtat. This is a small village on the coast and it was so nice wandering along the waterfront. ... of those that were open and then headed down to Club 6 where we were allowed to wait until 10.30 - we should have waited in the International Café – much nicer… but at least I got the last of our photos for this part of the trip downloaded and reduced in size ready for uploading whenever I find a free WiFi.

Disembarked the Royal Princess for the last time ... sniff, sniff, tissues needed ... such a beautiful ship.
