    ... seeing almost within arms reach.
    Actually, it seems to be working! My feet are a bit numb--but all the important stuff is staying dry. I've done it! I've become an all-weather hiker. And I'm not alone. Apparently the Swiss don't let the weather keep them indoor either, and some of them are out walking, jogging or cycling.

    ... what--?! Half a franc PER MINUTE! I do some quick math. That's 16 times more expensive than Italy. I decide to put one franc in anyways--only to find, the upload function doesn't work.
