Sad day today as we left this little piece of Heaven. The day ended up being rather epic, seemed like we were in an episode of the "Amazing Race ". We were up at 6.00am to pack, eat our last homemade croissant :( and say our farewells to Mamma, Pappa and Angelo. Finally arrived on board the River Countess at about 5.00pm.

Getting to the boat from the airport by vaporetto was very easy given the crew's very thorough instructions.

Everyone on the boat, the River Countess, were all aware of the difficulties I had experienced in getting there. Apparently the Cruise Director had been updating crew and passengers on my progress.
