We made it. So, it turns out that the train from Milan to Linthal is not so direct. We booked the 0710 train to Zurich, thinking that we'd rather get up early and get to Linthal than sleep in Milan. Our train would have gone to Zurich, where we would have switched trains to head SW and eventually switched again to head south to Linthal. Except our train to Zurich lost time somehow, somewhere, and they kicked us off a stop or two early. Apparently that's how they stay on ...

Train from Interlaken to Brig, then caught the Glacier Express to Chur.

Wonderful panoramic Windows gave us the perfect view of the Alps rolling by slowly as we ate lunch and drank champagne.

An excellent way to travel!

Had time to explore the pretty town of Chur before night ...
