      After a rushed start we arrived safely at Catania airport with plenty of time to spare - thank you Mt Etna for not erupting or billowing clouds of ash into the atmosphere so we could depart on time! There was a bit of excitement as we were getting onto the plane . On the way home we stopped to get the kids gelato and then headed over to a little restaurant we found down the road called trattoria tipica - it had a lovely atmosphere but I was a little worried when I saw cavello on the menu, we had a laugh but didn't tell the kids then I went on to ordered the mixed meat platter and then realised it might come with horse!!!
