... the iconic Tower in the late evening sun against dramatic clouds. The meal did not disappoint - the best meal in Paris so far. After dinner, as a special privilege for dining at the restaurant, we were able to purchase tickets to go higher and enjoy the spectacular view after dark. Although it was after midnight when we caught the Metro back home, the trains still ran every 5 minutes and were full of people.

... chardy to start then two magnums, a 2010 Croze Hermitage and then a carignan from I don't know whom!! Both good though. After a beautiful clear evening when we walked home from the restaurant, today is grey and overcast. But we still went on our run around Parc Monceau. Sally and Tony slept in until 11.30! Lucky Buggars wish I could sleep like that. But then they had had the horror flight from NY to London and on to Paris ...
