    ... saw his billiard room, his dining room, his chambers and those of his wife, and his portrait and bust galleries. We could see out back the beginnings of the gardens, and the canals. The secondary palaces that he built to get away from his getaway were so far down those canals that they were out of sight.     ... bite at Paul- seems like the Paris equivalent of panera. Much better bread though. Several things are closed on Sunday, but the mall at La Defense was open so we went there for more shopping.     ... yuck! We looked at breakfast buffet, what else could we have? Nothing except a banana. Oh well, tomorrow we will get to breakfast at 7:30 so the milk will be cold, now that's a plan.
