Destiny or Coincidence?

... and I hoped I helped them in the ways they needed it.

But the universe wasn't done with her amazing surprises. Earlier that day, I had decided that I did not have the money to take the EFT course in Chianti, Italy. There was nothing I could do, when the money isn't there it just isn't there. When I arrived back at my place in the evening, me and my couchsurfing host and another surfer cooked, laughed, and drank sparkling wine. ...

Add that to the fantastic weekly shop rides on Thurs. from Bike Breaks, Girona Cycle Center and you have a recipe for a great bike holiday in Spain. Well it gets even better because I am meeting other cyclists familiar with the area (Neil, Josep) and so every ride has a little different twist.
The reality is that I have to plan rest days because of all of the riding that is possible. At my delicate age I need to focus ...

Rolinka and Antoine had dinner catered with Tapas and we had cake. Right as we sat down a thunderstorm struck and then, rain! It was short lived and it cooled it down nicely. Wonderful last day in Cadaques! ...

... our names and we jumped in when we got back. After lunch we walked back into town...I think I need to make sangria for the tour. Thank goodness I sent the recipe to Nick last fall, I still had it on my phone.
One of our tour members has a fitbot and we did almost 14,000 steps today.
We had salmon and tuna kebobs for dinner and watermelon for dessert. Lots of wine and good company.
Love you all,

... to kill so Dar and I walked down to the small harbor beneath the house and we went swimming in the ocean. Perfect temperature! The trail was very rocky but we made it.
Then we went to Kooky Dali's house. That man had to have been on some kind of drug. The pictures will tell the story.
Beautiful evening on the patio with our tour buddies and a nice breeze...looking forward to the fan!

    Honeymoon in Spain

My wife and I recently visited Costa Brava (April 2013) as part of a two week honeymoon in Spain. Our stay at the Hotel Aigua Blava could not have been better. Although this was the end of the "off season" and some of the amenities were not operating, the Hotel was better than advertised. The views of the coast are stunning. The room was a very nice size, with a king sized bed, plenty of closet space and a sitting area with a coach and coffee table.

The staff was amazingly friendly. The main restaurant serves great food prepared in the typical Catalan fashion. It was a little too cold for a dip in the pool, but the grounds of the resort were very well maintained.

The Hotel staff sent a bottle of Cava to our room in celebration of our honeymoon. Everyone associated with the Hotel went out of their way to make our stay special.

Well, if you want somewhere with stunning views, friendly staff, flawless menu and desserts to die for I highly recommend Hotel Aiguablava. The big table of us ordered quite possibly everything on the menu and there wasn't a single complaint. Dessert followed and there was no complaining, in fact no conversation, something's always good when it causes silence.
    Love this place!
