From one sort of 'mad' to another
... which was severley damaged during the civil war in Spain in the 1930s, and restored/rebuilt by Dali. Situated opposite the church where he was baptised and later buried from, the museum has an interesting facade, using symbols that Dali used throughout his art - such as the bread and eggs.

After two delightful months in the south of France, we were trying hard to keep a sense of perspective. To steal a phrase from a friend (thanks Dav), it’s a ‘first world problem’ when you’re main complaint for the day is that the three Michelin star restaurant you dined at didn’t completely knock your socks off!

Girona
... city wall, which gives wonderful 360 degree views of the city, a couple of church/cathedrals and some pretty good places to eat as well. It's a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the big city. One thing I like about cities with beautiful old buildings such as Girona is that they spotlight the buildings when it gets dark, making the town very scenic to walk through at night.
