      ... you will have a smorgasbord of options to choose from.

      We also had an arvo swim and were surprised how warm the water is. It's also more salty than our water in the west which made floating quite easy. Very refreshing before an evening stroll out for dinner.

      ... there were so many interesting options that I went with the "3 pates" combo plate, which turned into "4 pates" a bit later when Carole shopped her noodles with saffron and scallops around.       ... into Dubai itself. We boarded our second flight from Dubai to Nice on time but then just prior to takeoff (literally) some idiot decided to have a panic attack on board so we had to taxi back from the runway to the terminal to get him (and his luggage) off the plane. 1.5 hours later, we finally took off! We were over the flight by then and we'd only just taken off!

      After a rest back at our hotel we set off for a visit to nearby Monaco. Unfortunately we'd missed the Grand Prix by just a few days! We caught a bus there and the 8km trip took 45 minutes on the busy winding sea front road I didn't mind because it gave me time to enjoy the most amazing views and admire the most amazing sea front houses.
