Lake Garda
... trip to the salad bar. As far as I was concerned, that was enough and satisfying. Little did we know that the main course was yet to come...oh la la, by then I'm absolutely full. Then came the main course...roast pork, spinach and potatoes and of course, desert. I will pace myself from now on. End of afternoon, Just sitting on the rooftop, sipping a Spritz! We're in Italy!
... on it later) Lunch then got on our bus and drove to Lake Garda, where we're staying for 2 nights. Charming small hotel near the lake that we will discover tomorrow, it's the biggest lake in Italy. Cocktails on the rooftop terrace and dinner await us in a few minutes. Did it feel good to jump in the shower...left Ottawa Friday morning at 10 AM and here we are Saturday afternoon 5:30. Long journey but anxious to see more... ...
Day 4 - Pizza and Lakes
