... After lunch the 5 of us went for a boat ride around Lake Garda which was beautiful. The captain even let each of the boys have a turn steering the boat which they thought was pretty cool. We were then going to go and have a look through a castle but it closed at 1pm! We didn't realize this and got there at 1.30pm. Oh well! ... we went on so many rides without lining up which we just wouldn't have been able to do otheerwise. It's such a huge place there were many things we didn't see even though we there for nearly 8 hours!!! in Sirmione, the weather soon began to brighten up and it turned into

Our first stop of was Malchesine on the eastern coast. We discovered
as with all the places on the lake, that they were pleasant villages
on the steep hill sides of the lake, full of charm, narrow streets
and passages but swamped with tourism. We stayed for a spell,
