Started the day with a trip to Toleda which is about an hour from Madrid. It reminded me alot of Malta as the town is within a tower. Very beautiful area where we had a walking tour around town. Visited a beautiful jewellery and gift shop which handmade jewellery.

After lunch toured Madrid by foot. We walked about 10km plus and enjoyed some tapas and wine for dinner.

Arrived in Madrid by 1.30am. Hopped on the bus for a city tour at about 3pm to view the many buildings.

Dinner was fantastic. We had a typical spanish meal of tapas, gazpachio soup, garlic soup, suckling pig, paella and Sangria. Spanish musicians entertained us and we finished with a night tour of the fountains.
