... leaf. And then all of a sudden the wind kicked up even more and poor Lily got sand blasted by the gravel. Not sure what to do, I kept thinking that the wind would die down. Every time I though we were through the worst of it, the wind came back with vengeance. So, with Lily being shaken this way and that and bravely standing fast against the raging storm outside I became a total gibbering mess!! Nobody likes a Mumpty Spaniel” and then they carry on back and as I'm sure that you will understand, I have to follow them as with their planning and navigation skills, who knows where they would end up. I believe that Lee, Claire, Rachel and now young Max have all tried this sulking tactic and these two just do not get it, so it's back to the drawing board for some new training tactics ...

Left La Isleta drove around to look at the lighthouse and flamingoes on the other side of the cape, then south to Almerimar. Not a very pretty drive - vast expanses of orchards completely covered in plastic.

... monster steaks from our spanish mates mum in the markets. Even got mates rates as mum liked me. Mind you, Nico gave me a bum steer on the worrd for beef. Even his mum was scratching her head at his text message. But all's well, we have half a dead cow for tonight and another leg of Iberico Cedo Jamon(the famous wild boar fed on accorns naturaly cured.) for the trip along with loads of stores that dee has managed to squirell away into the boat.

... scenery all the way along this coast has been spectacular with the coastal towns being backdropped by the mountain range. Our photos do not do it justice I’m afraid. We were motoring along and planning our ports of call when we suddenly realised that we were passing the anchorage.
