Budget Hotel

Spend a night in this hotel, and would not stay again. The advantage of this hotel is very close to train station and very cheap; the downsides are very noisy; breakfast is very basic; no shampoo or body wash provided (some washing liquid for hair and body). This is a typical budget hotel. The area in the night is quite rough.

Ho trascorso una notte in questo albergo e non ci tornerei. Il vantaggio dell'albergo è che è molto vicino alla stazione dei treni e molto economico. Gli svantaggi sono il rumore, la colazione molto essenziale, la mancanza di shampoo e doccia-schiuma. È un tipico albergo economico. Di notte la zona è abbastanza pericolosa.

Hôtel économique

J'ai passé une nuit dans cet hôtel et je ne suis pas prêt d'y revenir. Les atouts de cet hôtel : tout près de la gare et bon marché. Les mauvais côtés : très bruyant, petit déjeuner très basique, le shampoing ou le savon pour le corps ne sont pas fournis (il y avait un peu de gel pour les cheveux et le corps). C'est l'hôtel bon marché typique. La nuit le quartier n'est pas terrible.

Limpio, recién renovado, un hotel relativamente barato

Quedé muy gratamente sorprendido por este hotel. Lo reservé por 63 euros en el sitio web de los Dema Hotels con unos meses de antelación. El hotel está justo al lado de la estación central de Amberes y está recién reformado, con unos baños muy modernos.

Nos dieron a elegir una habitación que diera a la parte delantera o trasera. Aunque la habitación era relativamente pequeña, era muy bonita y estaba muy limpia.

Recomiendo este hotel encarecidamente.

Ich war so angenehm überrascht von diesem Hotel! Ich buchte es ein paar Monate im Voraus für 63€ auf der Webseite des Dema Hotels. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem Hauptbahnhof von Antwerpen, ist frisch renoviert und hat sehr moderne Badezimmer.

Wir durften zwischen Zimmern, die nach vorne oder hinten lagen, wählen. Obwohl das Zimmer recht klein war, war es sehr schön und sehr sauber. Ich kann dieses Hotel absolut empfehlen!

Clean, newly renovated, relatively cheap hotel!

I was so pleasantly surprised at this hotel! I booked it for 63 euros on the Dema Hotels website a few months in advance. The hotel is right next to Antwerp Central station and is newly renovated with very modern bathrooms.

We were given the choice of front- or back-facing room. Although the room was relatively small, it was very nice and very clean.

I thoroughly recommend this hotel!

Nice Clean Hotel

Nice clean hotel, stayed over new year and used as a base to see the rest of the city. Short walk to the main square but gents beware it's via the diamond shops! Staff friendly. The only minor thing was the wet room style bathrooms, I seemed to get water all over the place but the wife didn't have a problem with it.

We didn't have a great view from our room but hey it did't matter we were only sleeping in the room after a few strong chewy lagers!

Also try the Bombay King curry house round the corner - nice Chicken madras!

Great location and very modern hotel

My first trip to Antwerp and with no place booked I tried the Agora. Situation right outside Central station in the plaza (currently under construction), the location was perfect.

Check in simple, staff courteous, my room (105) was rear facing and although no view was very peaceful. The room was large, with modern decor, laminate flooring, flatscreen remote TV, tea/coffee facilities and en-suite with large shower cubicle & toiletries. Breakfast was included and ample for me.

The only thing I didn't like was lack of aircon, and as the window only opened about 1 inch it left the room feeling stuffy, and as a dust allergy sufferer this did affect my comfort, which was a shame as apart from this I did like this hotel.

Nice try Agora, but the aircon/window problem will stop me returning...
