      ... churches nothing was open. But the churches! What a surprise to go into the Chiasa Di Santa Maria Maggiore church and see the 16th century, over the top, decoration. There is lots more to see here and perhaps we will stop here again.

      Bergamo to Breschia was a challenging day. No hills but the rough pavement and busy traffic for about half of the ride made it a full concentration day. This city should also be more popular with North American tourists ...
