... In the main square there are some tavernas which the aforementioned priest is nipping in for a quick drink of coffee. At a junction of tracks we stopped to decide which route to take, an old man on his balcony pointed and in Greek told us to go right, we would have chosen left but we did as we are told and go right.

... with gold, expensive perfumes in bottles would be put into the outer chamber along with armour, weapons and sacrificed animal bones for the men and jewellery and perfumes for the women. ... around the village a bit and tried to see how close I could get to the ancient palace and theater that are also there, but these monuments are closed off to visitors so that they can be renovated. I got back to Thessaloniki around dinner time and enjoyed one of my favorite parts of being in Greece: delicious gyros for only one euro! I fully intend to exploit that benefit one last time tomorrow evening before heading back to Turkey :).

Let me note here that the hotel was fully booked which prooves that it has a good reputation.

I stayed three days and I had a wonderful time. My stay there did not cost much, however, the quality at Alkyonis Hotel was really in a high level!
