Arrived 7am but didn't go ashore until 11. Berthed right in town so an easy walk to do some shopping. Saturday today so market stalls everywhere and really good shops. Had a good Illy coffee and a walk up the hill for a view. Nice fine weather today about 24 degrees. Had lunch in Marco Polo restaurant. Really very good food. Sailed for Corfu during lunch. Zaton-Split-Italy

The flight is over. Finally. We saved ourselves from border on this leg of the flight by discovering that our entertainment systems can call each other. Genius! It was so amusing. Prank calling each other and the teachers :P hahaha and then I figured out how to text over the system; it was fabulous! Because we were flying during sunshine for once, we were able to see Europe as we were flying over it and getting our first official look of Italy ...

... We then set off to finish the rest of our journey. We slept, watched an Archimedes movie and when the boredom got to our heads we started our own mini bus party. We sang continuously for at least an hour! It definitely wasted time. But then poor Nathan got a nosebleed. All together it was a great day!!! Hvar town and rain!
Got up n had some brekkie before catching a bus to Hvar town. Only a short trip across the island around some ocean cliffs and through some vineyards and olive groves.
